IGCSE research on differently abled pupils among their typically developing peers has shown promising results, particularly with the implementation of art therapy. This approach has significantly aided the development of autistic pupils through art and design, serving as a powerful means of expression and motivation. It highlights their value and capabilities, emphasizing that differences in expression and behavior should be celebrated rather than viewed as shortcomings. One of Reena’s most profound contributions to sacred art is her work at ISKCON Temple, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, where she was volunteered to paint the deities of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai. Merging her mastery of bold strokes with deep devotional sensitivity, she captured the radiant, golden forms of the ‘Golden Avatars’ in their iconic dancing pose. This work serves as a center-piece of the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.
